What you will do: 
As a Product Manager you will help build and guide the product roadmap within the Springboard Team. You will work with a blend of Product, Technology, and Business resources, on various projects all focused on delivering value. You will interact with various business units, and all levels of the organization where you will apply your unique blend of skills to drive assigned projects to successful completion. Your goals will include improving the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions and finding technological solutions to business needs.
The Product Manager should understand industry and user needs and know how to balance those needs against the organization’s capacity to deliver. They will constantly evaluate the changing landscape in order to keep our product lines moving in a positive direction. They listen to the various interests involved to understand problems and work to find a solution that solves those problems. The Product Manager will manage discovery to obtain product requirements, use case scenarios, and user stories as well as support the deployment of solutions. 
In this role you will be working on processes which directly impact internal and external user’s day-to-day productivity. You must be able to balance the desire system “elegance” against the needs for rapid delivery.
  • Manage customer relationship - systematically gather, understand, manage and prioritize requests from product end users
  • Communicate effectively - succinctly document and communicate business problems, use case scenarios, user personas and user stories to the product development team
  • Manage expectations - collaborate with the product development team and stakeholders to provide accurate estimations, timelines, costs, and risks associated with software development
  • Analyze data schemas. Data sources  and APIs and document data flow across systems and processes as technical requirements
  • Document and diagram business processes and infrastructure workflow
  • Provide leadership - communicate written & orally about how solutions will help us reach the team’s outcomes with stakeholders across the organization
  • Provide facilitation - leverage structured solution delivery processes with stakeholders including customers, UX and developers to diligently advance product design while ensuring exposure to diverse viewpoints
  • Deliver solutions - assure all requirements are met, and documentation and communication provided to customer in order to support a successful solution deployment
  • Write user stories that clearly communicate the business requirements to developers and QA engineers, and establish acceptance criteria with stakeholders
  • Support requirements analysis and writing, data mapping, data transference and testing
  • Work with Dev team to provide necessary testing guidance, and the QA team to ensure proper test coverage is planned/executed across functional, data and regression areas
  • Promote system efficiency and security by integrating performance metrics and encryption
  • Understand strategic business needs and plans for growth
  • Coordinate reporting, tracking and triaging of system bugs/issues 
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
How you will grab our attention: 
  • A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Highly applicable work experience required in lieu of degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Product Manager role
  • Demonstrated success in a complex business and technical environment
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Experience with web applications and mobile applications is preferred
  • Experience with data integration projects and articulating testing needs
  • Experience in data transformation and organization for reporting
  • Experience in workflow management tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with business and technical teams
  • Ability to keep up with an ever changing IT landscape
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • World-class facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Able to set and manage priorities
  • Ability to quickly come up to speed in dynamic environments
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with wireframing, workflow and other product design tools
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Google Apps
